      Catholics in Antioch, Oakley, Brentwood, and Pittsburg and throughout Contra Costa County have been served by the Dominican Friars since the 1860’s. Holy Rosary Catholic Church has served as the Catholic parish in Antioch since 1874. Antioch Catholics are also served by St. Ignatius of Antioch Parish (their website is http://www.stignatiusofantioch.com/). Holy Rosary Catholic Church is a welcoming Catholic community that provides good preaching, good music and many opportunities for Antioch Catholics and all spiritual seekers to deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ.

      Parish Lenten Mission
      We will be having a parish Lenten mission this year on March 11, 12 and 13 – Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in the church each night. It will feature a moving testimony by one of our parishioners, preaching, adoration and confessions. It will explore more deeply the theme for Lent: “Wake up to living God’s plan.” Come and discover why you are here in this world.
